About Annousa
She started making jewelry, parallel to her studies in Graphic Design back in 1994, first just for her and some good friends.
Their encouragement and zest led her to try reaching a wider audience, and with their support, she did her first jewelry collection.
At the same time, she started working at DESTE Art Foundation and collaborating with their art shop.
She participated in many special events and shows in art galleries in Athens.
She was also particularly interested in the favors for weddings and baptisms, which she started designing back in 2001.
Creating things with her hands is always a great joy for her. She experimented with diverse materials and techniques during the years, but she is always returning to –resin. She loves its transparency, its endless possibilities to incorporate and highlight tiny details of other materials, and its constant transformation through light.
She prefers simple lines and a minimal design, giving these fragile elements space to unfold their stories.
